I have been working on a patch work t-shirt dress for awhile now. The jury is still out on whether on not that project will come together but in the process I have accumulated a lot of t-shirt scraps.
Here is one little project that uses some of those otherwise unusable pieces and the best part is it only takes a few minutes.
Step 1 - Gather your supplies. You will need the sleeves from two different colored men's short sleeve t-shirts. Some scissors, a needle and some matching thread.
Step 2 - Cut the hem off the sleeve leaving the sleeve ring intact.
Step 3 - Twist once and fold in half to create a double ring. Check to see that this fits over your hand.
Step 4 - Cut four strips of knit from the contrasting t-shirt color. (Approximatley 1/2" x 7")
Step 5 - Pull all four strips of fabric to stretch and roll the edges.
Step 6 - Tie each of strips equal distances apart on the looped sleeve piece.
Step 7 - Twist and wrap the ties into a rosette shape and secure with thread and needle. Trim excess.
Step 8 - Repeat for additional bracelets.
